Anticrepuscular twilight rays are uncommon, like the crepuscular rays. If the sun is only just below the horizon, the crepuscular rays may span the entire sky and converge into the dark twilight wedge, Earth's shadow. There they may contrast with the pinkish countertwilight arch, or Venus' Belt.
